The Lexington Park Lions Club is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards: Nancy Lin and Adam Nilsson, both exceptional seniors at Great Mills High School.

Each year, the Lexington Park Lions Club awards scholarships to local students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service. These awards reflect the Club’s ongoing dedication to supporting the youth of St. Mary’s County and fulfilling the Lions’ motto, "We Serve."

Nancy Lin, of California, Maryland, has excelled academically with a 4.16 weighted GPA and has been a dedicated leader in numerous student and community organizations. As president of both the Key Club and the Asian Student Union at Great Mills High School, she has led numerous service initiatives, fundraisers, and outreach programs. Nancy plans to attend the University of Maryland College Park to pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering, with the goal of advancing environmental protection and sustainability.

“These two students are remarkable examples of what it means to serve and lead,” said Dana Davis, President of the Lexington Park Lions Club. “Both Nancy and Adam exemplify the character, dedication, and ambition we strive to support through our scholarship program. We are honored to play a small part in their incredible journeys.”
