This Week with the Lexington Park Lions 🦁

This week, we recognize several national observances that align with our mission of service, community, and awareness:

Columbus Day & Indigenous Peoples’ Day – Monday, October 13
A day to honor heritage, discovery, and cultural diversity.

White Cane Safety Day – Wednesday, October 15
A reminder of our commitment to vision safety and mobility awareness for all.

National School Lunch Week – October 13–17
Celebrating the impact of healthy meals on student success.

Throughout October, we also observe World Blindness Awareness Month, reaffirming our pledge to improve eye health and prevent vision loss.

📣 Local Call to Action:
Join the Lexington Park Lions this week — volunteer at a school lunch event or support a local vision-screening campaign.
