New Year, New Ways to Serve 🦁

As we begin a new year, the Lexington Park Lions Club is highlighting meaningful observances that reflect our commitment to service, health, and environmental stewardship.

January 5 – National Bird Day reminds us of the importance of protecting wildlife and caring for the natural spaces that make our community a great place to live.

January is National Blood Donor Month, a vital time to recognize the life-saving impact of blood donors and encourage healthy community members to give when they are able.

Together, these observances reflect what Lions do best—appreciating the world around us while stepping up to serve others.

Community Call to Action

Start the year by making a difference. Donate blood, support a local food or supply drive, or lend a hand at an upcoming service project.

Interested in Serving More? Join the Lions.

The Lexington Park Lions Club is always looking for neighbors who want to turn compassion into action. You don’t need special experience—just a willingness to help. Whether you have time to volunteer, skills to share, or ideas to contribute, there’s a place for you in the Lions.

Membership offers opportunities to:

Support local health, vision, and hunger-relief initiatives

Work alongside dedicated community volunteers

Make a visible, positive impact close to home

Be part of a worldwide organization built on service

If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to get involved, now is the perfect time to join us.
